Numbering finish refers to printing numbers on sets and sequences on forms, receipts, tickets and so on. It can be printed on either descending or ascending numerical order on paper or cardboard.
Padding is a procedure used to hold books or sets together by an adhesive compound spread across the edge of the sheets. NCR, or carbonless forms, are an example of individual padded sets. We offer padding in all sizes and quantities.
Perforated and MicroPerf finish refers to punch tiny holes on your print project, allowing you to separate the differents parts by folding and tearing along the dotted lines.

This is used for traditional printing, but it also adds something unique and interactive to your job: die-cut printing has the ability to cut any shape that you want for your printed material.
As with vegetable-based inks, this ink is also agriculturally based. With less VOC than traditional ink, it can at times still be difficult to trace the ingredients. Industry producers at times label inks containing 1% soy oil as soya-based inks.
Typically using less solvent than petroleum ink, this type of ink contains limited amounts of VOCs, and is from a non-renewable source. With a quick drying-time, they reduce energy usage from drying lamps.
Available in a variety of forms such as gloss, dull or a satin finish, it is applies to the top of a printed piece to avoid smudging ink. Invisible to see, it is a water-based lacquer coating and considered the best choice in terms of environmental impact.
Applied like ink on paper and dried by UV lights, it can be used over the whole printed product or on specific areas of the piece. With no toxic by product emissions, it does however require chemicals in its cleanup process and needs high-energy drying lamps.
Coming in gloss, dull or a satin finish, this coating is highly durable and easily recyclable. The process does however emit VOCs during the coating process.
Waterproof, washable and tear-proof, lamination comes in two types: liquid and film. Liquid laminate is applied like a varnish and dried similarly. For film laminates, the printed product if sealed between two layers of plastic film sealed with adhesive and dried with heat.
